Mr. Kaustuv BANDYOPADHYAY, Director (kaustuv.bandyopadhyay@pria.org)

Kaustuv Kanti Bandyopadhyay is the Director of Society for Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA), India. He has more than two decades of professional experience with the university, research institution and civil society organisations. He has led and managed a number of national and international research and action learning initiatives in many Asian countries on citizen participation, social accountability, civil society development and democratic governance in urban and rural contexts. Currently he is the Global Coordinator of LogoLink and also serves on the Steering Committee of Asia Democracy Network. He is associated with Global Partnership on Social Accountability (GPSA), Local Governance Initiatives (LoGIn), International Cooperation Policy Research Network (ICPRN) and many other global and regional networks. Based on practical experiences, he has authored and published a number of articles, manuals, books and other publications in Asian context.  He has a Ph. D degree in Anthropology.
